The Anouk velvet jacket is crafted in a silk-blend with silver and gold beading and zardozi hand embroidery. Lined with the Mountain Marigold printed lining.  

The delicate traditional embroidery is done by talented embroiderers in Mumbai, India. Muzungu Sisters continues to value and champion hand-embroidery which is sadly a dying art due to the increased popularity of machine-embroidery.

With a touch of Muzungu whimsy, the prints cover alpine florals, and Safavid miniatures of flowers alike. The classic styles are supplemented with velvet sets, and new hand-beaded evening dresses. With a nod to mountain flora from Kashmir to Switzerland, the silk prints and ornately beaded soft velvets encompass all you will want to wear this winter.
