Interim Senior Finance & Operations Manager
We are looking for an experienced Senior Finance and Operations Manager to join the team on a temporary basis and manage the daily finance and operational processes whilst our current Finance and Operations Manager goes on maternity leave. The focus is on creating a highly efficient, professional finance and operations function.
This role would take on full responsibility for Collageries' finances and operations whilst looking for ways to improve current processes. This role will be working closely with the CEO.
As a Senior Finance and Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
The Role:
Finance:
- Preparation of the Management Accounts
- Manage the Accounts Receivable, Payables and bank reconciliations
- Work with both the Brand and Sales Teams
- Ability to get stuck into the details to find any inconsistencies
- Improve current processes and look for ways it could be more efficient & automated
- Management of the balance sheet and cashflows
- Payroll & reconciliations
- Present quarterly accounts to the Board whilst providing recommendations and reasonings behind reports
- Maintain and update the monthly budget and forecast
Operations:
- Provide daily oversight of the workflows and operations of the company, ensuring that issues are being resolved and deadlines are being met
- Implement new processes and standards, as needed
- Manage all contracts, consultants and administrative personnel function including HR, Legal and Operations
- Liaise cross-functionality to set and track KPIs and ensure all administrative needs are being met
- Ensure compliance with local and international laws, working with external counsel
- Build trusted relations with key partners and stakeholders
The candidate will hold experience in a similar role and will be able to help identify opportunities for process improvement.
Requirements:
- Ideally qualified or ACCA / CIMA / ACA finalist
- At least 5 years experience in a similar role
- Excellent communications skills, both orally and written
- Strong attention to detail
- Good initiative and willing to take ownership and responsibility of tasks
- Eager to learn and look to improve / change processes
- Excellent team player
- Experience using Xero ideal, but not essential
- Is passionate about people and culture, and is willing to work hard with the team
