Springtime forms the ideal backdrop for Tate Modern’s combined exhibition of Piet Mondrian and Hilma af Klint – two groundbreaking 20th-century artists whose abstract compositions were rooted in nature. Such shared enthusiasm produced vastly differing results, offering a wealth of vivid and vibrant inspiration with which to excite our own creative instincts.
