About the artist: British artist Sophie Harding lives in Penzance and paints from a tiny home studio five minutes walk from the seafront. With such a delightful environment in which to work, it’s easy understand the uncomplicated pleasure she finds (and communicates) in her paintings, illustrations and prints. Driven by colour and the power it has to evoke positive emotions, she conveys life’s simple joys by capturing the essence of a scene or finding the beauty in everyday objects.
