Ediorial Internship/Work Placement

We are looking for an Editorial Intern who is passionate about all things digital. This is a great opportunity for someone to further their skills at a new and exciting start up; a digital platform co-founded by two former Vogue editors focusing on fashion, lifestyle and beauty. Your primary role will be assisting the editorial team with content management and imagery across the company website.

Key Responsibilities:

• Image handling: acquiring hi-res imagery

• Assist with product uploads working with our CMS system

• PR communication

• Assist with shoot production, managing samples coming into the office and returns

• Ensuring website is up-to-date, accurate and functioning correctly, checking daily for OOS items and errors

• Suggesting and recommending new features and functionality

• Support with day-to-day admin

The Person:

• Eligible for the work placement programme (2/3 months+) in the UK, as part of your university degree

• Currently enrolled in a related field (Fashion, Journalism, Communications & Media, etc.)

• Eager to learn how a website is run

• Interest in fashion, interiors, and beauty

• Ambitious and proactive

• Can-do attitude

• Excellent attention to detail

• Confident using Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Keynote

• Understanding of CMS systems (will be taught regardless)

• English language skills (proficient in written and verbal)

• As a new company that will be growing at a fast pace, all employees will need to bring energy and enthusiasm, along with flexibility on working hours and areas of support.

If you're enthusiastic about the fashion industry, currently pursuing a degree in Fashion, Journalism, Communications & Media, or a related field (requiring a placement as part of your course), and possess outstanding organizational and time management skills, then you're exactly who we're looking for.

As an intern, you'll be an integral part of our dynamic team, gaining hands-on experience that will set you apart in the competitive fashion landscape. We're seeking detail-oriented individuals with the ability to multitask, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills. Although this is an unpaid placement (with expenses covered), the invaluable experience you'll gain during this full-time, office-based opportunity will undoubtedly open doors to exciting career prospects in the future. Please note that our placements are a minimum of 2/3 months, providing you with a substantial period to fully immerse yourself in the intricacies of the fashion industry.
